Installed and playing! The controllers work great. Thanks for all the info. Time to knock the rust off.
Thanks for the info. I'll have to reacquaint myself with all the combo openers and linkers. I'm hoping it's like riding a bike.
I always changed my buttons on Super Nintendo. AXR BYL down the list. I'm assuming I can map the buttons on my iBuffalo controller however I like?
I'm planning on downloading the MAME emulator when I get my computer working (old desktop - login issues). Are there recommendations for which version of MAME as well as which version of the KI and KI2 roms I should grab? I currently have the 64 bit version of Vista, which I have been urged to upgrade to windows 10.
Thanks again for all the info. This site is awesome.

Perfect! That is all I needed to know. Thank you.
I look forward to diving into this site and learning more. It looks like people can fight each other online! That is awesome. I'll likely get creamed, but I'll test out my Riptor skills once I have it all set up.
Hello. I'm new to the forum and have a couple questions.
Over the weekend I was reacquainted with the arcade version of Killer Instinct and have now decided I need to have it at my fingertips at home. Growing up, I was a huge fan of KI on Super Nintendo and played it endlessly. I was only able to play the arcade version on a couple occasions, but I was blown away by how much better it looked and sounded compared to the Nintendo version. However, I find that I struggle on the arcade version with a stick instead of a D-Pad. So, my questions are:
1 - Are the moves the same on Ultra64 as they are on SNES?
2 - If I get the MAME emulator for KI (and KI2), can I use an SNES controller to play?
I apologize for the simple questions, but I am brand new to the world of emulators and not the most computer literate person around. I was looking at an iBuffalo SNES controller and was hoping that would work.
Thanks for your help!
