Released in 2013 as an Xbox One launch title. A unique release schedule broken into "seasons" giving us 8 or so characters each season. Microsoft purchased the rights to Killer Instinct from Nintendo just a few years ago. The game is exclusive to Xbox One and coming soon to PC on Windows 10.
