I'm going to leave this here... this is NOT a joke.  If you have an old SNES Xband, start getting it ready... these guys are getting it done!!!

Forgive me, but whats the excitement for this? Aren't there ways to already play SNES emulated games online?

This wouldn't be emulated.  If this works as intended, then it will be played on an actual SNES through the xband modem.

Nice! I never had an Xband. I heard a lot about it when I started this site but had never known it existed before that lol.
