Dendy World - Tournament Killer Instinct SNES
« on: September 08, 2015, 08:01:41 PM »

In 1996 in Moscow the tournament on the game Killer Instinct was held. Everyone from 6 to 45 years could take part in it. Within a week over 2200 people were registered. Selection competitions of a tournament began on March 24. Also began!.
Fights took place from 8.30 till 20.00. Super Nintendo prefixes working every day for 11-12 hours confirmed the superreliability. Even in evening news broadcast news about a tournament.
On March 30 at 10:00 the tournament final began. Finalists fought on system "everyone with everyone". 10 lucky at good speed destroyed each other so already 2 hours later results were clear. Emil Karaivanov, Mikhail Vologdin, Sasha Tatayev and Victor Hmelik passed in the superfinal.
Games of the superfinal took place in Sunday - on April 7, 1996. At first fighters fought to 5 victories. Action reminded the real show. Light grows dim, background music (K.I soundtrack sounds.), on a scene the ominous smoke slipping on the first rows of the audience creeps. The superfinal began... The popular children's TV host Sergey Suponev was invited to a role of the leader. This was an interesting show. The last fight of a tournament went to 7 victories.
