Xbox One fight stick question
« on: December 22, 2014, 09:50:33 PM »

When I got a chance to use a KI Mad Catz fight stick I was a little let down. I'm very used to the joysticks on the arcade games. You can spin it in a circle and not feel any resistance. I was majorly thrown off by the knobby feel of the stick, doing a back-forward move feels weird. The curve to the buttons also messed me up. I'm not used to the Japanese style fight sticks at all. Are those joysticks on all of the Xbox fight sticks? I'm still holding out hope X-Arcade will make an adapter but its been over a year now and theres been no news. I want a KI fight stick just for the collectors aspect, I'm hoping to buy one on Craigslist for $140 this week but we'll see.

I recently picked up the Razor Atrox. I have not tried the MC XBONE edition but I have a MCTE I use for SF4. The Atrox feels more responsive and the Joystick is flawless. KI does seem to have a bit of a learning curve with the stick. Manual timing is what I'm struggling with.

I got the Razer Atrox too, and i'm very glad to say it's perfect with the bat top.

The stick from Madcatz is out of print now I think. You'll probably have to import one if your in the UK unfortunately.

What do you use on killer.
There is a stick on eBay for £230.00.
To pricey for 2 nd hand.
What would you pay for a old one.

I use the Mad Catz that came upon release with Season 1. There is a Hori fighting stick CXK posted which should also work.
