I hope they add them, but KI fans just want what's best for KI.
It would be nice to end on season 3 with every fighter and every no mercy, ultimate..etc. At the moment it still is the best fighter out there, so glad it came back.
Would love Loaded to return, and Darkstalkers...remember playing battletoads at a friends house, was quite a tough game, that's why I never bought it back then. It was bad enough trying to get past levels on the thunder force games.
Saw Tekken 7 on you tube, does not look better than KI.

As much as I LOVE the no mercys and ultimate im happy without them yes but would love them back of course ki no mercys isnt what makes the game never was th8s isnt mk which I love also but it has to have fatalities killer instinct doesnt the game play and meterial is awesome enough ulitimates and no mercys just add to the awesomeness

Ki is not KI with just ultra combo. we need those elements that made Ki huge. roof enders, no mercy, ultimate and humiliation. we need those. i believe that these are best for KI.

KI3 was made on a low budget. For season 1 I do agree that the most popular characters needed to be included and things such as no mercies and Ultimates would be nice to have but what was needed to bring this game back, DH did the right move. We could have had Ultimates this season but then we would have to replace the stage Ultimates.
KIs popularity just can't compete with games like Tekken and Street fighter and is survived by hardcore fans as oppose to Tekken which is big on the mainstream market.

I know tekken has a massive fan base, but I never liked it. Loved virtual fighter and dead or alive. Was not slanging tekken off, just I think KI does shine bright out there. Even the new mortal kombat looks better than tekken. Do you think tekken improves with every version, always looks and plays the same with me.

I played all the Tekken games in every installment they just add a few
new moves to every character and add some B.S. mechanic to make the same
game feel "new".

you guys think tekken is big? try thinking about street fighter. that name street fighter can no longer be consider a title for a fighting game. it is a religion.

Street fighter is quality, I am 45 years old and enjoyed growing up with it. But the best  was street fighter on the super nes, and I enjoyed alpha. The mega drive version sucked. The last time I bought a street fighter game was the cross tekken one. Was okish.
Does have a massive fan base.
Are we getting the new street fighter on Xbox one?

by that time we'll most likely be playing KI in another timeline or different story mode.

Hmmm. I think by then, KI won't get a sequel for a good amount of time. KIs popularity is growing so I'm hoping by the time the next KI installment comes out "if there is gonna be one" that it'll be made on a higher budget and the roster will be complete on the first release. Allthough I'm glad KI is going to have a total of 18 and maybe 27 with season 3 instead of 11 characters like KI1&2 did.

i have a funny feeling that capcom will approach M$ to make a cross over game of KI vs SF. it's funny cause in the old forum i did make a topic of KIvsSF where the plot and rivalries will be breath taking.
